Celebrating Black History Month

​​Don't ever let anyone pull you so low, that you start hating them
Because the moments you hate, they win
Let me ask you one question
What's written in your life's blueprint rule #1
Never allow anybody to make you feel like you are nobody
You are somebody, you matter, you count and your life has purpose
Your life has ultimate significance
Never walk with your head down
Never shrink to make others comfortable
Never apologize for existing
Don't be ashamed of your color
Don't be ashamed of your features
Don't be ashamed of who you are
Somewhere in your life you must stand tall
And say it out loud and believe it with your whole heart
I am black and I am beautiful
Not because the world approves you
But because you approved yourself
And once you believe that nothing and no one can break you
